At Henderson Farms, our farm raised cattle, grazed rotationally with goats, represent our commitment to quality, and ethical animal care. Beef cattle make up the majority of our herd, though we also have milk cows. By integrating cattle and goats, we enhance the health of our pastures and provide you with the highest quality beef and raw milk.
Our cattle are raised with utmost responsibility and care. Rotational grazing ensures continuous access to fresh forage, promoting natural behavior and well-being. We avoid overcrowded conditions and growth hormones, focusing on the welfare of our animals and the land.
Experience the exceptional taste of our professionally and custom butchered freezer beef. We use only skilled, professional butchers who are dedicated to proper aging, cutting, and packaging. Whether you need just enough meat for a special meal, or a whole head of cattle custom cut to your specifications we can provide you the high quality, locally-raised beef you deserve. Our farm-to-table approach ensures unparalleled flavor and tenderness, and we are proud to provide transparency about the origin and handling of our meat. Support local and indulge in the quality that only Henderson Farms can offer.
Starting in 2024 we’re pleased to offer raw milk, fresh from Henderson Farms. In the state of Indiana we cannot sell raw milk for human consumption and we adhere strictly to all laws governing its sale and use. Our raw milk is handled with the utmost care and can be used for pet food, cheese making, and other non-human consumption uses.
Our rotational grazing system is designed to promote the health and well being of our animals and land. While our cattle focus on grasses, our goats naturally control shrubs and weeds, creating a complementary and balanced ecosystem. This method minimizes waste and supports a resilient farming practice that is both ecologically sound and economically smart. Come experience the difference at Henderson Farms, where we blend tradition with innovation for the benefit of our animals, our land, and our community.
